Azerbaijan-Pakistan Business Forum organized by GBA and AZPROMO

Baku/Islamabad, 4 December 2022 (GNP/TDI): Azerbaijan-Pakistan Business Forum was organized by the Global Business Allience and the Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) together in Baku.

Entrepreneurs working in the sectors of industry, food, pharmaceuticals, tourism, textiles, etc., participated in addition to authorities from both sides.

Speaking at the forum, Yusif Abdullayev, the head of AZPROMO, emphasized the value of strengthening ties between business circles in Azerbaijan and Pakistan.

He also provided information on initiatives to promote the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand and drew attention to the recent visit of the Azerbaijani business mission to Pakistan.

The Small and Medium Firm Development Agency’s (SMB) Chairman of the Board, Orkhan Mammadov, spoke about the assistance that SMBs could offer to international entrepreneurs looking to launch a business, locate local partners, work on joint projects with SMEs, and pursue other goals.

Within the event context, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Global Business Alliance (GBA) and the Pakistan-Azerbaijan Chamber of Economic Cooperation (PAKAZCHAM).

The ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan, Khazar Farhadov, mentioned in a tweet that the Azerbaijan-Pakistan Business Forum was held in the capital of Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijani ambassador expressed his confidence in Azerbaijan-Pakistan Business Forum that it will bolster economic cooperation between the two brotherly states.

The Ambassador tweeted, “AzerbaijanPakistan Business Forum was held in Baku by the organization of AZPROMO & Global Business Alliance. I’m confident that such events & B2B meetings will greatly contribute to the further strengthening of the economic relations between 2 brotherly countries.”

The Chairman of the Global Bussiness Alliance (GBA), Muhammad Asif Noor, thanked the ambassador of Azerbaijan and was hopeful for substantial results of the meeting in the trade and investment area.
