Trade between Thailand and Pakistan has topped $1.8 billion

Islamabad, 4 December 2022 (GNP/ TDI): The Thai ambassador anticipated that the amount of commerce between Pakistan and Thailand in September was already up 6% over the previous year while speaking at the 95th National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand celebration.

The level of bilateral commerce between Thailand and Pakistan has topped $1.8 billion, according to Chakkrid Krachaiwong, the  Thai ambassador to Pakistan; both countries concentrated on identifying new trade and investment prospects across several industries.

When describing the significance of ASEAN, the ambassador noted that Thailand had collaborated closely with other members in Islamabad to improve multifaceted cooperation with Pakistan.

Thai Ambassador emphasized the importance of the national day by stating that the 5th of December is an essential day for the Thai people as they observe Father’s Day, the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, and the late King Bhumibol’s birthday anniversary.

The UN has designated December 5 as “World Soil Day” in honor of the late King’s outstanding contributions to soil research that have improved people’s quality of life.
