Islamabad, 22 November 2022 (GNP/ TDI): Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, expressed his condolence to Indonesia over the earthquake that struck West Java Island on 21 November 2022.
Saddened by the tragic loss of precious lives in an earthquake that struck Java region of Indonesia. We, in Pakistan, offer our heartfelt condolences and most sincere sympathies to H.E. President Joko Widodo, the bereaved families and the brotherly people of Indonesia.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, in his message, expressed grief over the tragic loss of lives in the devastating earthquake that hit the west Java Province of Indonesia. He offered heartfelt condolences to the Indonesian President, Joko Widodo.
Moreover, Prime Minister expressed sadness over people who lost their lives because of the devastation caused by the earthquake. He expressed sympathy for bereaved families and the brotherly people of Indonesia.
Foreign Minister of Pakistan’s condolence message
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Foreign Minister of Pakistan, also intimated grief over the devastating Java earthquake and the loss of precious lives as a result.
Foreign Minister expressed profound condolence to Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi and sent prayers for the affected families and the people of Indonesia.
National Assembly of Pakistan condoles the Earthquake’s affectees
The Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Pakistan also expressed their grief at the news of the earthquake in Cianjur, West Java, Indonesia.
The National Assembly of Pakistan expressed consolation to Indonesia over the precious lives lost and the massive destruction.
