Following his impressive performance for Football Club Barcelona and his National team Argentina, the football legend was awarded the prestigious Ballon d’Or trophy.
Lionel Messi is the player with the most Ballon d’Or in the history of football. He won his first Ballon d’Or trophy in 2009 and the seventh one in 2021.
