Astana, 28 Aug , 2023(GNP): At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Astana, Roman Vasilenko, Kazakhstan’s Deputy Foreign Minister, welcomed the Czech Ambassador. The meeting commemorated the end of Ambassador Gikl’s four-year tenure, which began on September 4, 2019.
In the meeting, Roman Vasilenko presented a letter of appreciation from the Deputy Prime Minister to the Ambassador. Roman Vassilenko said, “Czech Republic is one of the main trade partners of Kazakhstan among the EU countries”,
The Deputy Minister emphasized that the recent official visit of Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala, to Kazakhstan in April, played a pivotal role. During the visit, various intergovernmental documents were signed, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of the enduring and friendly Kazakh-Czech relations
During the discussions, both parties discussed the current and future prospects of bilateral collaboration. The areas of collaboration include trade, investment, energy transportation, culture, education, and tourism. They also exchanged views on regional and global matters of shared concern, including security, stability, and development in both Central Asia and Europe.

Ambassador Gikl also conveyed his appreciation for the support and cooperation extended by the Kazakhstan during his four-year stay in the country.

He also commended the achievements of Kazakhstan in various fields, and expressed confidence that the partnership between Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic would further flourish.
Deputy Minister Vasilenko also expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Gikl for his role in fostering friendly relations between the two nations. He also extended his best wishes for success in Ambassador Gikl’s future endeavors.
