San Francisco, 5 January 2023 (GNP): Twitter owes $136,260 in rent for its offices on the 30th floor of a building in downtown San Francisco, according to a lawsuit filed by the building’s landlord a few days ago. While Elon Musk was trying to cut down expenses at Twitter to keep them at a minimum, his decision resulted in him falling behind on rent payments for the company’s offices.

On 16 December 2022, the landlord of the downtown San Francisco branch informed the company that it would be in default if it didn’t pay within five days. The five days went by without any payment according to the lawsuit. There was no response from Twitter as the company no longer has a media relations department.
