Islamabad, 1 MARCH 2023 (GNP): The Pakistan-China Institute, in collaboration with the All-Pakistan Chinese Enterprises Association and Power Construction Corporation of China, recently launched a report titled “Development Prospects of Chinese Enterprises In Green Energy Industry in Pakistan.”
The report highlights the importance of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and the need for Chinese enterprises to navigate the complex business environment in Pakistan.
The launch event was attended by representatives from universities, think tanks, Chinese enterprises, and policymakers, providing a platform for stakeholders to discuss the report’s findings and explore opportunities for further collaboration between Pakistan and China.
The report offers a comprehensive analysis of Pakistan’s green energy sector, providing insights into policy and regulation, market demand, and financing options available for Chinese investors seeking to contribute to wind, solar, and hydroelectric power projects in the country.

Mustafa Haider Syed, Executive Director of the Pakistan-China Institute, welcomed the report’s launch as a major step towards sustainable development and resource efficiency in the bilateral economic cooperation between China and Pakistan.
