Around 15 million to get free wheat flour, Prime Minister

Distribution to take place from Sha’ban 25 to Ramzan 25 of the present year

Lahore, 14 March 2023 (GNP): On Monday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that free wheat flour will be provided to about 15.8 million Punjab residents during the month of Ramazan.

The Prime Minister declared that this distribution marked the first for the nation while presiding over a meeting to assess the distribution.

He stated that 8,500 Utility Shops will distribute the flour from Sha’ban 25 to Ramadan 25. Furthermore, 20,000 additional flour distribution locations will be established to support the populace.

The Prime Minister gave the relevant authorities the go-ahead to deploy innovative technology to guarantee distribution fairness. Furthermore, he stated that the quality of the flour would not be compromised.

He stated an SMS would be available for people to use to determine whether they qualify for the free wheat flour.
