Karachi, 14 March 2023 (GNP): Governor Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, congratulated Administrator Karachi, Dr. Syed Saifur Rahman and his team on Monday for successfully organizing the Karachi Games 2023 and said that such sporting events should be promoted in the future so that the young people can be inspired to participate in sports.

Addressing on the occasion at the Karachi Games Football Tournament Prize Distribution Ceremony at KMC Football Stadium, the Sindh Governor also declared that Shahid Memorial will get Rs 50,000 as the runner-up team in the final and Rs 1 lakh as the winner of the football championship games.

He also reminded that 42 sporting events were held as part of the recently finished Karachi Games, in which more than 5,000 sportsmen and athletes took part.
