Vienna, 18 November 2022 (GNP): Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the president of Turkiye, predicted that an agreement allowing Ukraine to carry grain over the Black Sea would be implemented.

Erdogan said that the agreement would go into force on November 19, 2022, and last for 120 days.

Before the United Nations and Turkey reached the deal in July, Ukraine, one of the world’s top producers of grains, had 20 million tonnes of grain halted at its ports because Russia invaded the country.

In a press conference on Wednesday during the G20 meeting in Indonesia, Erdogan said he trusts the deal will continue.
