US-Iran talks could resume soon in Pakistan: Pete Hegseth

Washington DC (GNP) :-  United States Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has indicated that talks between the United States and Iran could resume soon in Pakistan, signaling a potential revival of diplomatic efforts amid ongoing tensions.

Speaking to reporters in Washington, he emphasized that Tehran still has a significant opportunity to reach a meaningful agreement with Washington, particularly if it takes verifiable steps regarding its nuclear program.

Hegseth stressed that while the United States is maintaining pressure, the door to negotiations remains open, urging Iran to make what he described as the “right decision” at the negotiating table.

His remarks come as both sides weigh the possibility of renewed dialogue, with Pakistan emerging as a key venue for facilitating discussions aimed at de-escalation and a broader peace framework.
