Islamabad, 29 December 2022 (GNP): TC Candler is a media company that publishes the world’s top hundred most attractive faces independent critics list annually. Nominations for the top 100 most handsome faces are announced at the start of the year and people vote for their favourites.
Results are announced in this year’s December. The first list was out in 1990 and since then, a list of the world’s top hundred most beautiful faces (both genders included) is passed every year. This year’s list of top 100 most beautiful female faces has been revealed by TC Candler on their YouTube channel. Following are the top five round-offs for the most handsome male faces of 2022:
1. Paing Takhon
Being a Burmese model, actor and singer, Paing Takhon began his career as a runway model in 2014. He was born in Sit Ko Paing, Kawthaung, Myanmar and began his modeling career by joining John Lwin’s Star & Model International Modeling Agency. Paing completed the company’s model training in 2014, after which he excelled in modeling and catwalk. The model got offers for acting in TV commercials, music videos and even as a fashion model on magazine cover photos.
Making his acting debut with a leading role in the film Midnight Traveller in 2017, he got cast in many films and dramas onwards. Paing Takhon started singing in 2017 and released his debut solo album Chit Thu (Lover). Alongside being a model, singer and actor, he is also a business owner and founder of his own beauty product company. He is also a business partner and shareholder of the United Amara Bank. He was ranked tenth in the 100 Most Handsome Faces of 2020 by TC Candler. This year, he ranks first!
2. Chris Hemsworth
Chris Hemsworth is an actor and model hailing from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He is best known for his role as the superhero Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He starred in the film Thor playing the role of the character ‘Thor’ alongside his co-star Tom Hiddleston who played Loki. Thor was the 15th highest-grossing film of 2011. The movie received such a positive response from marvel fans that he got offered another role the next year for the film The Avengers (2012).
The film was a success and he continued to star in marvel movies one after another, including Avengers: Endgame. Hemsworth has become one of the world’s highest-paid actors and influencers. He appeared in Forbes’ World’s Highest Paid Actors list in 2014, 2015 and 2018. Additionally, Chris Hemsworth has been on TC Candler’s list of 100 Most handsome faces several times with this year ranking second.
3. Kim Tae-hyung
Also known by his stage name V, Kim Tae-hyung is a South Korean pop idol. He debuted under the Korean music label BigHit as a vocalist of the boy group BTS in 2013. V has released three solo tracks under the group’s name: Stigma, Singularity and Inner Child. He also made his acting debut by appearing in a Korean drama titled ‘Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth’ in 2017. He has already been ranked first previously in TC Candler’s list of the top 100 most handsome men.
4. Timothee Chalamet
Timothee Chalamet is an American actor and model. He first starred in a television series titled ‘Homeland’ in 2012. He has played lead roles in the famous movies Dune 2021, The King 2019, Little Women 2019, Call Me By Your Name 2017, etc. He appeared in Forbes’s 30 Under 30 Hollywood & Entertainment list in 2018.
5. Jeon Jungkook
Jungkook is a South Korean singer and dancer of the boy band BTS. He debuted in 2013 with other members under BigHit entertainment. Being a singer, he has released three solo tracks, which are included in the BTS discography named Begin, Euphoria and My Time. Jungkook is also extremely popular with social media fans. A video of him singing in the studio became the most retweeted tweet in South Korea in 2018. He is also known for collaborating with Charlie Puth, an American singer, for singing a duet for the song ‘Attention’ at a Korean award show. Since then, he has collaborated with other famed western artists. He ranks 5th on this year’s 100 Most handsome faces.
