Three Pakistan army soldiers killed against in operation terrorists in Tirah

Tirah, 6 November, 2023 (GNP): In an operation conducted in the Tirah area of Khyber district, three Pakistan Army soldiers embraced martyrdom while combating terrorism.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that during this intelligence-based operation (IBO), a Pakistan Army officer and three soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice to protect their nation.

Under the leadership of  Lt Col Muhammad Hassan Haider, Pakistan Army troops conducted a precise and effective operation against terrorist elements. The operation resulted in the elimination of three terrorists, while three others sustained injuries.

During this intense exchange of fire, the four slain military men includes:

  • Lt Col Muhammad Hassan Haider (43 years old)
  • Naik Khushdil Khan (31 years old)
  • Naik Rafique Khan (27 years old)
  • Lance Naik Abdul Qadir (33 years old)

A thorough sanitization operation is currently underway to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining terrorists in the region.

ISPR underscored that the security forces remain dedicated to the eradication of terrorism from the country, with the sacrifices of these valiant soldiers strengthening their resolve.

Interim Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar conveyed his heartfelt condolences on the loss of lives of Pakistani soldiers.

He praised the martyrs’ dedication to safeguarding the nation and vowed to continue the fight against terrorism until the menace is entirely uprooted from the country.

Leaders from various political parties, including Shehbaz Sharif of PML-N and Asif Ali Zardari of PPP, conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyred soldiers.

They recognized the sacrifices made for the security and prosperity of the nation and expressed their unwavering commitment to stand against the scourge of terrorism.

This incident comes in the wake of a recent terrorist attack on the Pakistan Air Force’s M.M. Alam Base, where all nine terrorists involved in the attack were neutralized.
