Islamabad (GNP): Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq Saturday lauded security forces for conducting a successful operation in North Waziristan, resulting in the elimination of 21 Indian-sponsored terrorists.
In a statement, the Speaker paid tribute to the security personnel for their professionalism, courage and unwavering commitment to safeguarding the country’s peace and security.
He said the successful operation had foiled the nefarious designs of terrorists seeking to destabilize the country.
Ayaz Sadiq emphasized that the sacrifices rendered by the armed forces and security institutions for the defense, peace and stability of the country are unforgettable.
He said that terrorist networks operating under Indian patronage pose a serious threat to national security and the security forces’ effective actions against them are highly commendable.
“The timely operation by our security forces has crushed the malicious intentions of terrorists,” he said, adding that the entire nation stands firmly alongside its security institutions in the ongoing fight against terrorism.
The Speaker reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolve to protect its sovereignty and national security, saying that no sacrifice would be spared in this mission.

He further said that operations against terrorist elements would continue until the complete eradication of terrorism from the country.
Paying homage to the martyrs who laid down their lives in the war against terrorism, Ayaz Sadiq said the nation takes immense pride in their sacrifices.
