Beijing, 4 March, 2024 (GNP): President Xi Jinping extended warm congratulations to Shehbaz Sharif on his election as the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. President Xi expressed utmost confidence in the leadership capabilities of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the newly formed government of Pakistan.
In a cordial message, he underscored the significance of Pakistan’s new leadership and its potential to drive the nation towards greater heights of development and progress. He reaffirmsed China’s commitment to fostering strong bilateral relations with Pakistan, built on traditional friendship and mutual cooperation.

Premier Li Qiang of China’s State Council also extended his heartfelt felicitations to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on assuming office.
