Balochistan capital to host Vibrant celebration of PPP’s 56th anniversary

Quetta, 30 November, 2023 (GNP): The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is gearing up to celebrate its 56th foundation day with a rally in the provincial capital of Balochistan, Quetta.

The event will take place at Ayub National Stadium, drawing participation from senior party leaders, workers, and supporters from various regions of the province.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and former president Asif Ali Zardari are scheduled to address the rally.

The local administration has implemented security measures at the public meeting venue, and heightened security is in place across the provincial capital.

Significant police contingents are stationed around the stadium, and police mobiles are actively patrolling the streets and the vicinity of the hotel where PPP leaders are accommodated.

The party has achieved an early victory, as Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo, former Balochistan chief minister and president of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), has chosen to align with the PPP.

Instead, he and his associates intend to meet with former President Asif Ali Zardari and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in the near future.

Additionally, there are indications that former MNA Mir Yaqoob Khan Bizenjo may also join the PPP.
