Islamabad, 30 January 2023 (GNP): The suicide attack inside a mosque in Police Line Peshawar has been vehemently condemned by Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif.

He claimed that the bomb blast in the Mosque justified the ideology of terrorists, and they didn’t associate with Islam. PM Shahbaz elaborated on the situation that they wanted to target those people who were defending Pakistan’s security.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed his commitment and dedication to overcoming terrorist activities. Sharif was convinced that every institution and the whole nation were working together to eradicate terrorism.

He said that the nation as a whole honor its martyrs. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s deteriorating law and order situation will be addressed, he added. The center will work with the provinces to strengthen its anti-terrorism capabilities.
Shahbaz Sharif ordered the Interior Minister and instructions have been given to help the provinces’ counterterrorism departments, particularly those of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, become more capable.
The prime minister prayed for the higher ranks of martyrs while expressing sympathy to the grieving families.
