Islamabad (GNP): Pakistan and South Korea have agreed to strengthen cooperation between their respective judicial systems, following a meeting between South Korean Ambassador Han Sungho and Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi in Islamabad.
Recognizing the South Korean Supreme Court’s extensive experience in judicial automation and technology-driven court management, Chief Justice Afridi noted that closer institutional ties could help advance Pakistan’s own efforts toward automation and digital integration within its judiciary.
The two sides also discussed a proposed Memorandum of Understanding between the judiciaries of Pakistan and South Korea, which is expected to be formally signed during the Chief Justice’s upcoming visit to Seoul.

Ambassador Han commended the reform efforts underway within Pakistan’s judicial system and voiced his support for further deepening judicial cooperation between the two nations.
