Lahore (GNP): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif received a telephone call earlier from His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.
During their warm and cordial conversation, the two leaders exchanged views on the evolving regional situation and reviewed the progress of ongoing peace efforts in the region.
The Prime Minister expressed Pakistan’s sincere appreciation for Qatar’s continued and steadfast support for Pakistan’s peace initiatives, reaffirming the depth of the brotherly bonds between the two countries. Both sides underscored the importance of constructive engagement by all parties to ensure the success of ongoing peace efforts.
The Prime Minister conveyed his warm regards to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, and stated that he was looking forward to the upcoming visit of His Highness the Amir to Pakistan.

The visit of His Highness the Amir would help both sides to further strengthen and expand the enduring Pakistan-Qatar partnership.
