Islamabad (GNP) :- Deputy Prime Minister / Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation late last night with the Foreign Minister of Iran, Seyed Abbas Araqchi.
Discussion focused on regional situation and Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts for peace and stability in the region.
During the conversation, Araghchi appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role and its sincere mediation efforts between concerned parties, acknowledging Islamabad’s engagement in promoting de-escalation, said the ministry.
Pakistan’s foreign minister reaffirmed the country’s continued commitment to fostering constructive engagement, emphasizing that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable path toward resolving disputes peacefully and ensuring long-term regional stability.

Separately, Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei said that the Islamic republic appreciated Pakistan’s efforts to end the Middle East war, without commenting on a ceasefire extension announced by the United States.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has consistently expressed readiness for diplomatic resolution while maintaining its legitimate right to self-defense against aggression, and Pakistan’s emerging role as facilitator reflects growing regional recognition that American military adventurism has failed to achieve its objectives while imposing catastrophic costs on civilian populations across West Asia.
