PAA Elects New Central Executive Committee for 2026-2028

KARACHI (GNP): The Pakistan Advertising Association (PAA) announced the results of its 2026 elections at its 11th Annual General Meeting, unveiling a new 14-member Central Executive Committee (CEC) for the 2026-2028 term.

The newly elected CEC includes Numan Nabi Ahmed as Chairman, Jawwad Humayun as Senior Vice Chairman, Nida Haider as Vice Chairperson, Javed Qadeer Khan as Zone A Chairman, Waqar Haideri as Zone B Chairman, Usman Atique Butt as Zone C Chairman, and Faheem Ahmed as Finance Secretary. Additional members include Ahmed Jamal Mir, Natasha Durrani, Farhan Khan, Asad Ansari, Tabish Hasan Shah, Khalid Saleem, and Athar Saleem.

The meeting proceeded with an agenda shared in advance, during which outgoing Chairman Ahmed Kapadia briefed members on the achievements of the outgoing CEC over the past two years. Members gave him a standing ovation in recognition of his leadership in developing a new, strong brand identity for PAA.

New Chairman Numan Nabi Ahmed thanked members for placing their trust in him and the incoming CEC, saying he values teamwork, relationship-building, and learning from past experience to guide future planning. With that approach in mind, he proposed forming an Advisory Group to help continue the outgoing CEC’s work toward a stronger PAA with clearly defined objectives — a proposal the members approved. The group will be chaired by Ahmed Kapadia as Chairman Emeritus, with Aleem Durrani, Zeeshan Khan, and Salman Mansur serving as members. Ahmed thanked both the Advisory Group and the outgoing committee, and asked the new CEC to work closely with the group going forward.

He said the CEC will collaborate with the Advisory Group to develop a regulatory framework governing new membership and inter-agency relationships. Sub-committees will be established shortly, with details to be shared by the Secretariat. Zonal Chairmen will play a central role in expanding membership and coordinating with their respective information departments to streamline collaboration with agencies.
