NTX Wins Hearts in Delhi With a Special Rendition

New Delhi (GNP): K-pop and Bollywood came together in a special musical moment when South Korean boy band NTX performed the popular Hindi song Kesariya at Korea Culture Day 2026 in New Delhi. The performance brought Korean pop music and Indian cinema closer, giving fans a memorable experience at a festival celebrating friendship between India and South Korea.

The event took place at Select CITYWALK in New Delhi on October 23 and 24, 2026. Organised by the Korean Cultural Centre India, the festival brought together music, traditional arts, martial arts, food, and interactive cultural activities. NTX became one of the main attractions after performing Kesariya from the Bollywood film Brahmastra, along with other popular Indian songs.

The highlight of the festival was the NTX performance of Kesariya, a well-known Hindi song originally sung by Arijit Singh for the film Brahmastra. The group’s decision to perform an Indian song created a special connection with the local audience.

The song is popular among Bollywood fans, and hearing it performed by a South Korean K-pop group added a fresh touch to the event. It also showed how music can bring people from different countries together, even when they speak different languages.

The performance reflected the growing interest in cultural exchange between India and South Korea. By bringing a familiar Indian song to the stage, NTX showed its appreciation for Indian music and the fans who welcomed the group to Delhi.

K-Pop Group NTX Brings Bollywood Music to Delhi

NTX did not stop at Kesariya. The group also performed a medley featuring popular Indian songs, including Kaala Chashma and Koi Mil Gaya.

These songs are widely recognised by Indian audiences and added more excitement to the band’s appearance. Combining K-pop stage energy with Bollywood music created a lively mix of two popular entertainment styles.

The performance also highlighted how international music groups are exploring songs from different cultures. For Indian fans, seeing a Korean group perform familiar Hindi songs made the festival more engaging and memorable.

Such performances can introduce artists to new audiences while giving fans another reason to explore music from different countries.

Korea Culture Day 2026 Celebrates India-South Korea Friendship

Korea Culture Day 2026 was organised under the theme “One Light, Two Cities”. The theme drew inspiration from India’s Diwali festival and South Korea’s Chuseok celebration, highlighting shared values such as family, community, hope, and togetherness.

The festival aimed to help people understand and appreciate each other’s traditions through music, art, food, and live performances.

India and South Korea have different languages, customs, and histories, but cultural events create opportunities for people to discover common interests. Music, dance, and traditional celebrations can help people connect without needing to share the same language.

The event therefore offered more than entertainment. It also created a space for cultural understanding and stronger people-to-people connections.

Six Korean Performance Teams Showcase Their Talents

The two-day festival featured six Korean performance teams presenting different parts of the country’s cultural life. Visitors could enjoy traditional music, martial arts, classical crossover performances, contemporary instrumental music, and K-pop.

The Daekyeung University Taekwondo Demonstration Team opened the programme with a display of athletic skill, discipline, and choreographed movements.

Traditional fusion ensemble Eolssigu presented music inspired by Korean heritage. Violin duo Ayuni added a classical music element, while Atti Classic performed vocal crossover music. The contemporary group DEEPER brought together electronic dance music and live instrumental sounds.

NTX added the K-pop element to the programme, helping the festival appeal to younger audiences and fans of international pop music.

Together, the performers demonstrated that Korean culture includes a wide range of artistic traditions, from historic music and martial arts to modern pop performances.

How NTX Is Connecting With Indian Music Fans

K-pop has developed a large international audience, with fans following Korean music, dance, fashion, television, and entertainment. Groups such as NTX can use live performances and song covers to reach listeners beyond South Korea.

Performing Hindi songs is one way to connect with Indian audiences through music they already know and enjoy.

When international artists explore local songs, they can encourage listeners to discover more about the artists’ original music as well. This creates an opportunity for cultural exchange that works in both directions.

For NTX, performing Kesariya and other Indian hits at a major cultural festival helped bring Korean pop and Bollywood music together on one stage.

Korean Food, Games and Culture Attract Visitors

Korea Culture Day offered visitors more than live music. The festival also included Korean food, traditional games, Korean entertainment content, and activities connected with participating brands and organisations.

These experiences gave visitors an opportunity to learn about everyday Korean culture as well as its music and performance traditions.

Food, games, films, and music can all make another country’s culture easier to explore. Visitors can discover new interests, learn about different customs, and share their experiences with friends and family.

The festival’s activities helped make cultural learning accessible to people who might be discovering Korean traditions for the first time.

Diwali and Chuseok Highlight Shared Cultural Values

One of the main ideas behind the festival was the connection between India’s Diwali and South Korea’s Chuseok.

Diwali is widely associated with light, hope, and the victory of good over evil. Chuseok is a major Korean harvest celebration linked to family gatherings, gratitude, and respect for tradition.

Although the festivals have different histories and customs, both highlight the importance of family and community.

By bringing these ideas together under the theme “One Light, Two Cities”, the organisers encouraged visitors to recognise similarities between cultures while appreciating their differences.

The theme also showed how cultural celebrations can create opportunities for friendship between people from different backgrounds.

Why Cultural Exchange Matters for Young People

Cultural exchange helps young people discover new music, languages, traditions, and ways of life. Events such as Korea Culture Day allow visitors to experience another culture directly rather than learning about it only through television or social media.

For young Indian fans interested in K-pop, the festival offered an opportunity to see Korean performers on stage and explore other parts of Korean culture.

At the same time, Korean performers could connect with Indian audiences through local music and shared experiences.

These interactions can encourage curiosity, respect, and greater understanding between countries. They can also inspire young people to learn new languages, explore creative interests, and appreciate different forms of art.

India and South Korea Continue to Build Cultural Connections

India and South Korea have continued to develop connections through entertainment, education, tourism, business, and cultural programmes.

K-pop, Korean dramas, Indian films, and international music collaborations have helped introduce audiences to different cultures. Festivals provide another way to bring these interests together in a shared public space.

Korea Culture Day 2026 supported this wider goal by bringing Korean performing artists and cultural activities to New Delhi.

The event showed that cultural connections do not depend only on formal meetings or official agreements. Music, food, dance, and everyday experiences can also help build friendships between communities.

Conclusion: NTX Creates a Memorable India-Korea Musical Moment

NTX’s performance of Kesariya at Korea Culture Day 2026 gave New Delhi audiences a special meeting of K-pop and Bollywood music. The group also performed Kaala Chashma and Koi Mil Gaya, adding familiar Indian hits to its festival appearance.

Organised by the Korean Cultural Centre India under the theme “One Light, Two Cities”, the event celebrated the cultural connections between India and South Korea through music, traditional arts, Taekwondo, food, and interactive activities.

The NTX performance stood out as an example of how music can connect people across languages and borders. By bringing Korean pop and Indian film songs together, the festival offered a memorable celebration of cultural friendship and shared enjoyment.
