Washington, 13 February 2023 (GNP): According to reports, Microsoft will soon release updated Office apps featuring AI functionality. The tech giant is getting ready to demonstrate what Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other Microsoft 365 programs can achieve with its Prometheus AI technology and OpenAI’s language AI as early as this March.
Thanks to the Prometheus model, which was developed with the assistance of OpenAI, Microsoft recently released a reinvented version of Bing that can produce conversational answers to search queries.
The business also unveiled a new edge that uses Prometheus and has an integrated ‘AI copilot’. Users can quickly access Bing’s new chat feature by clicking a button in the top-right corner.
As was noted in its hands-on, it functions similarly to ChatGPT in the user browser. For use in PowerPoint or Excel, Microsoft wants its AI technology to be able to produce graphs and visualizations.

It was previously reported that the Corporation wanted its AI model to be able to write text using straightforward cues inside its Office products. It is not surprising that Microsoft appears to be pushing to release additional AI-powered capabilities for its products.
Before Google introduces its ChatGPT competitor, the Corporation probably plans to move quickly to get as many people to use its products as possible.
Apparently, Microsoft shifted the launch date so that it would occur before Google’s Bard announcement. The new Bing was initially scheduled to debut in late February. Given that it recently agreed to make a ‘multi-billion dollar’ investment in OpenAI, the Corporation is also obligated to maintain the growing range of AI-powered features it offers.
