FPCCI strengthens business and investment connections with Bulgaria

Islamabad, 11 February 2023 (GNP): Irena Gancheva, the ambassador of Bulgaria to Pakistan, and Irfan Iqbal Shaikh, the president of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), met in person.

The officials spoke about Pakistan and Bulgaria’s bilateral ties during the discussion and emphasized the need to strengthen their trade and investment ties.

The meeting was attended by the FPCCI members, including the vice president, Qurban Ali, the president of Nagar Chamber, Saqib Taj Abbasi, a GB Member of FPCCI, and mining associate Farukh Alvi.

The ambassador of Bulgaria reaffirmed her commitment to strengthening the two nations’ commercial and diplomatic ties. Such connection, according to her, would improve interpersonal relationships.

Gancheva stated that both nations’ Joint Economic Commissions were founded in 2015. Its goal was to look at ways to increase investment and commerce between the two nations.
