Peshawar,1 December, 2023 (GNP): The caretaker provincial government of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa is targeting the overseas deployment of 500,000 skilled workers, with a specific emphasis on technical education.
This initiative falls under the ‘Prosperous Pakhtunkhwa Program,’ encompassing various measures aimed at enhancing the well-being and prosperity of the populace throughout the province.
K-P Caretaker Chief Minister Justice (retd) Syed Arshad Hussain Shah asserted on Wednesday that the government is making earnest efforts to implement beneficial reforms across various sectors, emphasizing its commitment to serving the masses.

Chief Minister Shah expressed this outlook during his visit to the Peshawar Press Club, where he launched a state-of-the-art 25 KV solar system.
The recently implemented solar system is expected to yield annual savings of up to Rs2 million in electricity costs.
Present at the inauguration ceremony were K-P Caretaker Provincial Minister for Information Barrister Feroz Jamal Shah Kakakhel, Chief Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry, Information Secretary Abdul Jabbar Shah, and Information & PRs Director General Muhammad Imran.
In his address at the solar system’s inauguration ceremony, the chief minister emphasized the need for enhancing the province’s governance system.
He highlighted the importance of aligning it with principles and requirements of public service delivery to effectively address issues faced by the general public at their doorsteps.
He also expressed that the government would require the collaboration and guidance of the media in the battle against the drug menace.
