Babusar, 10 November, 2023 (GNP):The recent heavy snowfall in the region has led to the temporary closure of the Babusar Pass, making it inaccessible to traffic, according to official reports.
In response to the substantial snowfall, authorities have taken the necessary steps to close the Babusar Pass, prioritizing the safety of commuters.
The district administration, acknowledging the potential risks posed by the snowfall, decided to impose restrictions on traffic movements at Babusar Top in Mansehra.
A spokesperson from the Mansehra Police emphasized that the complete closure of the recreational area at Babusar Top Road prohibits all forms of movement or traffic.
Travelers planning to journey from Babu Sir Top to destinations like Gilgit and Khunjerab via the Naran Road are strongly advised against this route due to the persistent snowfall.
