Islamabad, 17 Aug, 2023 (GNP): The caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar stated that the newly instituted Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) would carry on with the work as before in assigning premises for fast-track foreign investments specifically from Saudi Arabia, on Wednesday.
The interim prime minister met Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy in a meeting and discussed potential areas of collaboration such as energy, infrastructure, agriculture, IT, and manpower.

Meanwhile, the Saudi ambassador congratulated the premier on taking charge of the government and gave best wishes and greetings as a representative of the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques, Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, and the people of Saudi Arabia.
Kakar commented that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia relished historic and deep-rooted relationships. He expressed gratitude to the Saudi government for its continuous support for the economic stability and development of Pakistan.
Moreover, the caretaker prime minister especially highlighted the millions of Pakistanis working and living in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and asked the Saudi government to continue providing all possible assistance to them.

Furthermore, he appreciated the Saudi government’s vision and said that Saudi Arabia could always rely on Pakistan as its genuine and trusted partner.
Additionally, Ambassador Nawaf remarked that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan were close together in a brotherly relationship, which has built upon mutual trust, understanding, and close cooperation on all bilateral and regional issues of common interest.
