Lahore (GNP): Al-Shifa Trust hosted an inspiring fundraising and awareness gala, “Noor-e-Lahore,” at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Lahore to formally launch its landmark eye healthcare project in the city on 13 June 2026. The event brought together renowned celebrities, philanthropists, corporate leaders, business executives, and distinguished members of civil society, all united by a shared commitment to restoring sight and transforming lives.
The evening marked the official unveiling of the upcoming Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital Lahore, which is set to become South Asia’s largest dedicated eye hospital. Once completed, the state-of-the-art facility will significantly improve access to high-quality ophthalmic care, serving thousands of patients annually, especially those from underserved and underprivileged communities.
The event celebrated Al-Shifa Trust’s enduring mission of eliminating preventable blindness by providing quality eye care regardless of a patient’s financial circumstances. Guests reaffirmed their confidence in the Trust’s vision and pledged their continued support to help expand access to life-changing eye treatment across Pakistan.
