Peshawar (GNP): Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal, Syed Asim Munir has affirmed that with the support of the people, Pakistan will surely inflict total defeat to the terrorists and their perverted ideology
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces (COAS & CDF), visited Corps Headquarters in Peshawar, where he was received on arrival by the Commander Peshawar Corps.
He was briefed on the current security situation, ongoing counter-terrorism operations, border management measures and the operational readiness of formations deployed in the province.
Munir praised the high morale and professionalism of officers and troops, and told them to stay vigilant and maintain the highest standards of readiness to counter threats effectively.
According to the statement, he said the campaign against what it called Indian-sponsored terrorist groups will continue in full and that they will be hit hard wherever they are found.

Paying tribute to the sacrifices of the people of Pakistan, including the martyrs and veterans of the security forces, he affirmed that with public support Pakistan will inflict a total defeat on the terrorists and their ideology.
