Moscow, 28 November 2021 (GNP/ TDI): The 25th meeting of the Russia-China commission was held via video conference, on 25 November. The videoconference was to discuss the cooperation and ensure support between both countries. The Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Dmitry Chernyshenko, and Vice-Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Hu Chunhua, led the meeting.

Chernyshenko and Chunhua discussed several topics, like trade and economy, science, technology, banking, customs, transports cooperation. Both also discussed cooperation in industry, agriculture, outer space, the peaceful use of nuclear technology, and ICT. Finally, Chernyshenko and Chunhua discussed cooperation in environmental protection, construction, and urban administration.

TREATY OF GOOD NEIGHBORLINESS AND FRIENDLY COOPERATION

Chernyshenko also noted the 20th Anniversary Russian-Chinese treaty of Good Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation. CHINA’S PARTICIPANTS IN THE CONFERENCE

From the side of China, the meeting had representatives from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Ministry of Transport. China also had representatives from the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the National Energy Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the People’s Bank of China, and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
