FrieslandCampina Engro Announces Financial Results for Q3, 2026

Karachi (GNP):  FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited (FCEPL) said its revenue for the first nine months of 2026 rose 10.1% over the same period last year, reaching PKR 88.4 billion against PKR 80.2 billion.

The company attributed the growth to a favourable portfolio mix, a focus on in-market execution, selective brand investment and sound route-to-market practices.

Ongoing efficiency measures in sourcing and manufacturing, the company said, lifted gross margin by 400 basis points and operating profit by 53.3% compared with the same period last year.

FCEPL said the packaged milk market still operates on an uneven footing because of the 18% sales tax placed on UHT milk in July 2024. Loose milk remains outside the tax net, which widens the price gap and holds back volumes in the formal dairy sector.

The company said it has continued to engage government stakeholders to press for fairer taxation in line with global benchmarks, pointing to the harm the current regime does to farmers’ livelihoods and the documented dairy economy.

Regional conflicts continued to make the operating environment difficult in the third quarter of 2026, with higher freight and energy costs weighing on the value chain and adding pressure to input costs.

At home, inflation and elevated policy rates continued to squeeze household purchasing power, which the company said affects affordability and demand across the category.

Drawing on its global expertise and 150-year heritage, FCEPL said it remains committed to high standards of hygiene, food safety and sustainability, and to supplying safe, affordable and nutritious dairy products to millions of Pakistanis every day.
