Trust, Family, Culture, and AI will be at the center of a packed day as Moscow hosts the Second World Public Assembly on September 19, 2026.
The day of September 19, 2026, will witness the city of Moscow hosting the Second World Public Assembly known as the “New World: Values That Unite.” The assembly will take place at different locations in Moscow such as the World Trade Center, and International Trade Centre. There will be a total of twenty sessions in the assembly covering various important topics including family value, Artificial Intelligence, sport, food, faith, and the Arctic shipping route, etc.
How The Event Will Be Organized
The World Peoples Assembly is the organization that organizes the event. It is a worldwide organization of individuals and organizations which aims for peace, friendship and sustainable progress. The Youth Forum “Generation of Unity” will be dominated by the younger crowd. Young leaders from 14 countries will present their views in a 90-minute debate called “Man in 2035: Will Artificial Intelligence Create Capable People or Make Them Dependent?” The forum will conclude with a closing session during which it is anticipated to adopt the second international youth resolution “Generation of Unity” and the action plan for 2026-2027.
Diplomacy, Sport and Faith
Institutional cooperation will also be highlighted. A panel of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation will wrap up with a plan to form the BRICS Public Association, while the separate session about the “Shanghai Spirit” will address ways of enhancing public diplomacy by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states. Another session will cover 17 global projects introduced by the Assembly’s Scientific and Expert Council in 2005-2006 aimed at generating proposals for the UN.
Sport will be brought into focus as a method of diplomacy in the course of the event titled “Sports and Diplomacy for the Benefit of Nations” where Olympic champion Maria Kiseleva and representatives of international sport federations will discuss inclusive competitions and the emerging concept of “restaurant sports.”
Spiritual aspect of the world will be promoted via a round table on inter-religious dialogue and another on spiritual ideas in the New World where religious leaders and scholars from Russia, India, Bhutan, Pakistan, and other coutries will advocate for universally accepted principles in ethics prevalent across religions.
The Arctic, Women, and Tourism
The women’s conference titled ‘Women Creating Future’ will feature notable women leaders hailing from various countries including Tajikistan, South Africa, Yemen, and Malaysia. The discussions will center around developing diplomatic practices and leadership methods based on the principle of cooperation.
There will also be a session dedicated to tourism focusing on how pilgrim tours, educational journeys, and new transport routes are influencing the world of tourism. The day will finish with the meeting discussing the Northern Sea Route that, according to experts, could cut the time of moving containers from Shanghai to Rotterdam by nearly two times and create opportunities for international trade cooperation.
What Lies Behind All This?
By arranging the meeting in such a diverse way, the organizers seem to assume that general themes like trust or unity will sound much better when they are related to something tangible and relevant to people’s lives (e.g., home, food, sports, language, and technology).
