PLAY Tennis Course Begins at PTF Tennis Complex

Islamabad (GNP): The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) has commenced a four-day PLAY Tennis Course at the PTF Tennis Complex, Islamabad, as part of its ongoing Coach Education Program aimed at strengthening grassroots tennis development across the country.

The course, which began today and will continue until May 14, has drawn a total of 24 participants from across Pakistan. The programme is designed to enhance coaching standards and promote tennis at the grassroots level, reflecting PTF’s commitment to nurturing talent and building a sustainable future for the sport in the country.

Overseeing the course activities is Mr. Jonathan Stubbs, ITF Development Officer for South, South East and East Asia at the International Tennis Federation, who is on a five-day official visit to the PTF Tennis Complex, Islamabad. His presence underscores the international significance of the initiative and the ITF’s continued support for tennis development in Pakistan.

PTF President Mr. Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, Secretary General Col. Zia-ud-din Tufail, and the entire PTF management extended their best wishes to all participants. They expressed confidence that the course will play a pivotal role in elevating coaching standards and accelerating the development and promotion of tennis across Pakistan.
