China : A regular meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SHOS) member states was held under the chairmanship of the Chinese side.
It was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus M. В. Ryzhenkov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India S. Jaishankar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran A. Arakchi, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan M. А. Nurtleu, a member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Wang Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, Minister of Foreign affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Zh. М. Kulubaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan M. И. Dar, permanent member of the Security Council, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation S. В. Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan S. Muhriddin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan B. О. Saidov, as well as the General Secretary of SHOS N. Б. Ermekbaev and Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure (RATS) SHOS U. З. Sharsheev.
During the SIS meeting, there was an exchange of views on the priority areas of cooperation between WHO member states in new conditions, relevant international and regional issues. The current state and prospects of development of the SOS interaction in the political, trade-economic and cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as key aspects of improving the Organization’s activities were discussed.
Particular attention was paid to the meaningful meeting of the Council of Heads of Member States (SGG) of the SHOS (g. Tianjin, fall 2025. Adopted as the basis of the projects of the Tianjin Declaration, a number of thematic statements from leaders, other documents and solutions.
Report of the Secretary-General of the SHOS on the work of the Secretariat has been approved.
