Professional and Educational exchange between Pakistan and US is ever growing

Islamabad:5 December 2019, (GNP): U.S Cultural Attache, while speaking to the participants of International Young Diplomats School, said that U.S. government invites 800 Pakistanis every year to the United States through education and cultural exchange scholarship programs. The Pakistan US Alumni network has 29,000 members from diverse regional and professional backgrounds. Pakistan has the largest U.S. funded Fulbright program in the world and Pakistan government finances half on the PhD’s.The U.S government brings American scholars, teachers, students and artists to Pakistan on exchanges many through the American Institute of Pakistan Studies based at the university of Wisconsin. It was shared that US government helped establish several premier universities in Pakistan and the U.S government partner with the ministry of education to build or repair 1600 schools and provided books to start nearly 15000 classroom based libraries. Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies has organized this important interactive session at Lincoln Corner National Library Islamabad. (GNP)
