Beijing, 12 October 2021, (TDI): On the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan, a soccer match was played. The theme of the match was the ‘2021 China Pakistan Youth Soccer Dream Match’.
The Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing hosted the event. it was organized by the collective of the embassy of Pakistan and the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign countries. China Friendship Foundation for Peace and Developed also participated in organizing the event.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Moinul Haque appreciated the participation of the teams. He also mentioned the importance of such events as these activities promote people-to-people contact.
Wang Longshe, the Secretary-General of the China Friendship Foundation for Peace and Development also added to the importance of Pakistan-China relations.
Jiang Yu, the Executive Vice Director of China Urban Development Alliance, Cultural and Economic Development Center also expressed the spillover effects of soccer.
The event ended with the distribution of prizes and appreciation.
