Rawalpindi, the 07th Nov 2019 (GNP): Admiral Ravinda Wijegunaratne, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) of Sri Lanka called on Ms. Zobaida Jalal, Federal Minister for Defence Production in Ministry of Defence Production at Rawalpindi today.
The two sides discussed to enhance cooperation in defence production and exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.
Pakistan considers Sri Lanka as an important regional partner and desires to develop closer ties with it in the realm of defence production and other related fields.
The Federal Minister expressed good wishes for the people of Sri Lanka and said that enhanced bilateral defence cooperation would have far- reaching economic impacts on the people of both sides. (GNP)
