Islamabad, Pakistan: (GNP): The Embassy of Ukraine in Islamabad celebrated its 28th Independence Day. A grand reception was hosted by the Ambassador of Ukraine Lakomov Vladimir Ivanovich wherein Syed Fakhar Imam, Chairman Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir graced the event as Chief Guest.
Addressing the reception, Ambassador Lakomov highlighted sphere of bilateral cooperation of Pakistan and Ukraine in several fields, he said that Pakistan is one of the most trustworthy reliable friends of Ukraine and both the countries have unique and exemplary relationship and growing with each passing day.
While expressing his views, Syed Fakhar Imam said that Ukraine achieved exceptional development during since its independence and there exists huge potential between Pakistan and Ukraine. He further added that Ukraine had always been a tested friend for Pakistan.
The event was attended by a large number of civil and military officials, diplomats, politicians, parliamentarians and journalists. (GNP)
