Lahore (GNP): A group of 31 players has gathered in Multan for the start of Pakistan’s U19 Skills Development camp. Running for eight weeks through to August, the camp will feed directly into the selection of a Pakistan U19 squad for an upcoming tour of England.
The England tour, scheduled from 2 to 16 September, will see Pakistan U19 contest one four-day match and four one-day matches against their England counterparts. Beyond the England assignment, the camp is also geared toward preparing players for the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup, in which Pakistan will defend the title they won last year after beating India by 191 runs in the final at the ICC Cricket Academy in Dubai on 21 December 2025.
Of the 31 players assembled, ten were part of Pakistan’s 15-man squad at the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup in Zimbabwe earlier this year. Three additional players — Abdul Subhan, Ali Raza, and Farhan Yousuf — are currently attending the NCA White-Ball Camp and will link up with the U19 camp at a later stage.
Training will be held at the Inzamam-ul-Haq High Performance Centre in Multan, with practice matches taking place at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
