Saleem Mukati elected PCDMA chairman

Karachi (GNP):  The Pakistan Chemicals & Dyes Merchants’ Association (PCDMA) has elected Muhammad Saleem Mukati as chairman, Shahid Bashir as senior vice chairman and Muhammad Aamir Bhatti as vice chairman for the 2026-28 term.

The election results were formally announced by Arif Jawed Khawaja, convener of the Election Commission, at the association’s annual general meeting.

The PCDMA had invited nominations for 20 seats of its Executive Committee as part of the election process for the 2026-28 term.

According to the election notification, only one nomination was received for each of the three key office-bearer positions. Consequently, Muhammad Saleem Mukati, Shahid Bashir and Muhammad Aamir Bhatti were declared elected unopposed.

The association also announced the election of two women representatives to the reserved seats. Eram Shahid and Aisha Farid Ahmed were declared elected unopposed after only two nominations were received for the two seats.
