Sharjah, 27 March 2023 (GNP): Afghanistan has taken a lead of 2-0 in the three-match T20I series. This is Afghanistan’s first-ever series victory over Pakistan in any format.
After losing second T20 against Afghanistan, youngsters have attracted a lot of criticism from the fans. Fans seem disappointed and are blaming the Captaincy and batting collapse as well as poor wicket keeping.
Amidst the chaos, the wicket-kipper batsman Muhammad Rizwan came out on twitter and showered his immense support in favour of the young Men in Green.
He said in his tweet;
I strongly believe in these young superstars of Pakistan cricket. Stay strong. Let these losses fuel your inner fire. Keep working hard. Keep believing. You are champions. You will come back with a bang. #PakistanZindabad

Following Pakistan’s second defeat to Afghanistan in the ongoing T20 series, veteran coach Mickey Arthur supported the struggling young cricketers Saim Ayub, Abdullah Shafique, and Mohammad Haris.
Mickey Aurther tweeted;
Saim,Abdullah and Haris have loads of talent but finding out that International cricket brings different pressures and responsibilities to Franchise cricket….groom them,give them time and allow them opportunities to bat with experienced players and they will come through!

It should be noted that in the current three-match series against Afghanistan, young players have been given opportunities. Shadab Khan, a Pakistani all-rounder, is leading the team in place of Babar Azam. He said: “In this series, we gave chance to our youngsters to boost up their confidence.”
The third and final match of the series will take place on Monday at Sharjah cricket stadium.
