Islamabad (GNP ) : Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and Pakistan Post Office Department have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at PTA Headquarters to enhance collaboration in advancing Pakistan’s digital ecosystem and improving public service delivery through integrated communication infrastructure.
The MoU establishes a framework for information sharing, mutual cooperation, and coordination, aimed at leveraging the strengths of both institutions to support the Government’s vision of Digital Pakistan through efficient, secure, and citizen-centric services. Key areas of collaboration include digital postal services, e-governance, cybersecurity, infrastructure utilization, capacity building, and knowledge sharing.
Chairman PTA, Major General (R) Hafeez Ur Rehman, HI (M) SI, reaffirmed PTA’s commitment to fostering strategic partnerships that strengthen digital infrastructure and promote innovation, emphasizing the importance of inter-agency collaboration.
Director General, Pakistan Post, Mr. Samiullah Khan, appreciated PTA’s proactive role and expressed commitment to modernizing postal services through digital integration.
The collaboration marks a significant step towards a connected and digitally empowered Pakistan.
