Islamabad, 14 March 2023 (GNP): President Dr Arif Hussain Alvi expressed interest in medical education, quality and introducing a uniform syllabus to set high standards of medical science in Pakistan.

President Arif chaired a meeting with the administration of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University in Islamabad on Tuesday. He said medical institutions need to produce more nursing and para-medical staff to cater to the health needs of the country.

The President also highlighted the need to make partnerships with foreign universities to take access to international courses and educational materials through online training opportunities.
He claimed that partnerships and linkages with foreign universities is the fastest way to improve the quality of education in the country.
