Pakistan and the US to forge economic alliance

"We always want Pakistan and the US to be friends," asserted the Chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Washington, 22 July, 2023 (GNP): The House Foreign Affairs Committee’s Chair, Michael McCaul, expressed optimism about fostering stronger relations between Pakistan and the United States through a new economic alliance.

His remarks came after a vibrant gathering at the Pakistan Embassy in Washington, where Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Masood Khan, hosted a delightful barbeque reception and mango festival. Both parties discussed ways to strengthen Pak-US ties during the event.

While acknowledging the existing security alliance and partnership between the US and Pakistan, Mr. McCaul highlighted the need for an economic alliance that would further consolidate their bond.
