Open Sindh Pickleball Championship 2026 Concludes

KARACHI (GNP): The Sindh Pickleball Association is proud to announce the successful conclusion of the Open Sindh Pickleball Championship 2026.

The highly anticipated two-day tournament was held from August 1st to August 2nd at the Mini Sports Complex in Nazimabad, Karachi.

The event brought together top-tier athletic talent from across the province to celebrate and compete in one of the world’s fastest-growing sports.

Under the expert supervision of tournament officials Mr. Junaid Raees and Shariq Siddiqui, players competed in Singles, Doubles, and Mixed events, displaying exceptional skill, sportsmanship, and dedication.

Huma Naz, graced the closing ceremony as the Chief Guest. She praised the athletes for their remarkable performances and distributed the first, second, and third-position trophies to the winning players.

The official results of the Open Sindh Pickleball Championship 2026 are as follows:

Singles Event
1st Position: Shoaib Siddiqui (Hyderabad)
2nd Position: Ahmed Arshad (Karachi)
3rd Position: Junaid Khan (Karachi)

Doubles Event
1st Position: Raza Gharyal & Maqbool Ahmed (Karachi Central)
2nd Position: Ahmed Arshad & Shoaib Siddiqui (Hyderabad)
3rd Position: Hussain Virani & Yaseen (Sukkur) AND Junaid Khan & Samad Zahid (Karachi)

Mixed Event
1st Position:** Shoaib Siddiqui & Maham Noor (Hyderabad)
2nd Position:** Shazia & Ahmed Arshad (Karachi)

The Sindh Pickleball Association extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and participants, and remains committed to promoting and developing the sport of pickleball throughout the region and announcement the Sindh Pickleball Association host the National Pickleball Championship- 2026 in August.

Players and officials at the Open Sindh Pickleball Championship 2026 in Nazimabad Karachi The Open Sindh Pickleball Championship 2026 began at Mini Sports Complex, Nazimabad, alongside the inauguration of a new pickleball court.
KARACHI: The Open Sindh Pickleball Championship 2026 got under way at the Mini Sports Complex, Nazimabad, Karachi, with the event being held from August 1 to August 2 under the banner of the Sindh Pickleball Association.

The two-day championship has brought together players from across the province for competition in one of the world’s fastest-growing sports. A total of 10 female and 12 male players are taking part in the mega event.

The opening of the championship was marked by the inauguration of a new pickleball court at the Mini Sports Complex, a development aimed at strengthening local sports facilities for athletes.

Mr Maqbool Arain, President, Pakistan Students Olympic Association (PSOA), and Mr Azmat Pasha, President, Karachi Students Olympic Association (KSOA), attended the ceremony as chief guests. Their participation reflected support at national and regional level for the promotion of pickleball and the provision of improved facilities for local players.

Players representing major districts of Sindh, including Karachi, Hyderabad, Shaheed Benazirabad, Mirpurkhas and Sukkur, are competing in the championship. Independent athletes have also joined the open player categories.

The contests are being held in men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles, and mixed doubles for men and women.

Tournament supervisors Mr Junaid Raees and Mr Shariq Siddiqui are overseeing the matches to ensure fair play and smooth conduct of the event.

A. Samad, President, Sindh Pickleball Association, and Ms Shazia Pirzada, Secretary, Sindh Pickleball Association, were also present on the occasion.
They welcomed the participating athletes, supported the matches and shared their vision for the future of pickleball in Sindh.
