NA Speaker calls “Taimoor” missile test a major milestone in self-reliant defence

Islamabad  :  Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has commended the successful precision test firing of the “Taimoor” Air-Launched Cruise Missile, an indigenously developed anti-ship weapon system, by the Pakistan Navy. He termed this significant achievement a major milestone for Pakistan’s defence capability, maritime sovereignty, and national security.

NA Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq congratulated the Pakistan Navy, scientists, engineers, and the entire team involved in this important achievement. He said that the nation takes immense pride in its brave armed forces and deeply values the services of the Pakistan Navy in safeguarding the country’s maritime borders and national security.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that through this successful test firing, the Pakistan Navy has demonstrated its professional excellence, operational readiness, and advanced capability to accurately engage targets and effectively respond to maritime threats.

The Speaker stated that the successful launch of the “Taimoor” Air-Launched Cruise Missile reflects Pakistan’s growing defence self-reliance and the exceptional expertise of its scientists and engineers. He further said that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully prepared on all fronts to defend the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national interests. He added that such achievements in the defence sector are a matter of great pride for the entire nation and reinforce confidence in a strong, secure, and stable future for Pakistan.
