Islamabad (GNP): A delegation from the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry (PAEI) called on Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi at Sindh House Islamabad to extend a special invitation for him to attend the 4th Made in Pakistan Exhibition and Business Conference as chief guest. The event is scheduled to take place from 22 to 26 September 2026 at the International Convention City Basundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The delegation was led by PAEI Founding Chairman Khurshid Barlas and included Chairman Fahad Barlas, Vice Chairman Kashif Wahid, and members Mudassar Nazir, Shamraiz Iqbal, and Iram Shehzad. The Governor accepted the invitation and confirmed his participation in the exhibition.
The exhibition will bring together businesses and products spanning a broad range of sectors, including textiles, food products, electrical and kitchen appliances, consumer goods, footwear, household items, furniture, gems and jewellery, marble and glass, sports equipment, fashion and fabrics, tourism and hospitality, machinery and equipment, paints and chemicals, HVACR, sanitary ware, handicrafts, and other related industries.
Governor Hashmi praised PAEI’s track record in organizing exhibitions and said such events play a meaningful role in driving economic growth and raising the profile of Pakistani products. He expressed full support for the Dhaka exhibition and said initiatives that promote trade and entrepreneurship have the government’s backing. He also highlighted the growing need to strengthen trade ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh and to introduce Pakistani products to a wider global audience.

Chairman Fahad Barlas said Pakistani goods enjoy strong demand and popularity in Bangladesh, and described the exhibition as a vital platform for showcasing Pakistani products on the international stage and deepening trade cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting concluded with Founding Chairman Khurshid Barlas and Chairman Fahad Barlas presenting Governor Hashmi with the official exhibition booklet and formal invitation letter on behalf of PAEI.
