Lisa Loring actress who played Wednesday, has died

The actress's daughter revealed the cause of death.

Los Angeles, 2 February 2023 (GNP): Lisa Loring, an American actress who was best known for playing the young Wednesday as a child star in the 1960s sitcoms, passed away aged 64 three days back. Her daughter, Vanessa Foumberg, revealed that Lisa Loring died from suffering a stroke.

Vanessa Foumberg stated: “She went peacefully with both her daughters holding her hands.” 

Lisa Loring’s friend, Laurie Jacobson, wrote on social media: “She suffered a massive stroke brought on by smoking and high blood pressure and was on life support for three days prior to her death.”

Lisa Loring was born to her mother, Lisa Ann DeCinces, on February 16, 1958, in Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands, a United Nations Trust Territory at the time, which had been administered by the United States. After her parents divorced shortly after her birth, she moved to Los Angeles with her mother.

Lisa made her TV debut by starring in the episode of Dr. Kildare, which aired in 1964. Lisa was most famous for portraying the role of Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family sitcom (1964–1966). She was one of the longer-surviving members of the show’s main cast. She later starred again for the role in the TV Movie Halloween with the New Addams Family (October 1977).
