Laam Fashion Week Returns to Lahore This October

Lahore (GNP): Laam Fashion Week is set to return to Lahore from 23 to 26 October, building on the momentum of its debut edition, which showcased the work of 37 designers and drew interest from customers in more than 100 countries, according to organisers.

The announcement follows a call for entries issued in June, when the platform opened registrations inviting designers to join the event’s second edition.

Central to the event’s appeal is its model of linking runway to retail in real time, making designer collections available for purchase on LAAM’s digital platform immediately after they appear on a live-streamed runway.

This structure gives Pakistani fashion brands direct access to a global customer base without the usual lag between a show and product availability, positioning the event as a bridge between traditional runway presentation and e-commerce.

The scale of the first edition underscored the format’s reach. Designers featured included Ali Xeeshan, Amir Adnan, Ammar Belal, Deepak Perwani, Élan, Fahad Hussayn, Feeha Jamshed, Generation, HSY, Huma Adnan, Hussain Rehar, Karma, Khaadi, Mahgul, Meeras by Nilofer Shahid, Mohsin Naveed Ranjha, Nomi Ansari, Rizwan Beyg, Saira Shakira, Sania Maskatiya, Shamaeel Ansari, Teejays, The House of Kamiar Rokni, Wardha Saleem, Zaheer Abbas and Zainab Chottani, spanning established couturiers and contemporary labels alike.

The event’s international footprint was equally significant, with the debut edition live-streamed in over 120 countries and every collection made available for immediate purchase or booking through the LAAM app, including couture orders accompanied by free shipping.

This seamless connection between runway and retail highlighted a model with real potential to contribute to Pakistan’s wider creative economy, offering local designers a direct route to global buyers without relying on traditional retail intermediaries. With the second edition now confirmed for October, the event looks set to build further on this platform as it returns to Lahore.
