Japan to act against UFOs

The reviews of the operations were made after Prime Minister Fumio Kishida headed a meeting of the liberal Democratic Party.

Tokyo, 16 February 2023 (GNP): Japan is reviewing the operation of the use of weapons against unidentified flying objects (UFOs) in Japan’s airspace. The concerns came after three unidentified and illegal objects were notified in the last three years, said the Ministry.

The reviews of the operations were made after Prime Minister Fumio Kishida headed a meeting of the liberal Democratic Party: the government officials said the government has allowed the UI to Self-Defense and remove the danger. The SDF is termed to be a necessary grant to either take down unidentified objects in Japan’s airspace or force them to land in Japanese territory.

The move came after the United States shot down several objects including a Chinese Balloon which increased the tensions between Beijing and Washington. As Washington called it a deliberate move, therefore, a threat to US security has spread concerns for other countries to act accordingly.

As for the Ministry of Japan, the country has noticed three flying objects in the airspace from 2019 to 2021. The first object was detected in Kagoshima Prefecture, southwestern Japan, in November 2019 and the second in the northeastern prefectures of Miyagi and Aomori in June 2020, and the third and last in September 2021.

China has called the move an aggressive take without any prior knowledge and making up stories after the US hype up the Balloon incident. The Chinese foreign minister Wang Wenbin said as a responsible country China has never infringed on any sovereign country’s territory or airspace. Adding to it Wang Urged Japan to be more objective and not follow the US Hype of the Balloon story.

After the US and Canada, Japan is now the third country that will act militarily against Unidentified flying objects in their airspace. Whereas the US and Canada called it a spy balloon, China has issued a denied of the military purpose of Balloons. Furthermore, China also said that U.S. high altitude Balloons have violated China’s airspace more than 10 times during the last year.
